The 'Renewables with the Territory' initiative aims to create a platform for dialogue among all stakeholders involved in renewable energy deployment in Spain. The goal is to develop a roadmap with transformative proposals that will guide the optimal approach to processes and public policies accompanying the implementation of renewable energies, maximizing benefits for the territory.

SDSN Spain fosters collaboration between universities and local governments, addressing sustainable development challenges. Through the Unicities 2023 initiative, two pilot cities (Valencia and Vitoria) are linking master students' academic work to urban transformation needs, thus engaging municipal policy officers and the University of the Basque Country, the Technical University of Valencia, and the University of Valencia. Moreover, an internship program at the University of Zaragoza involved students in the fight against depopulation in the rural town of Urriés.

SDSN Spain worked with the cultural sector to host five multi-stakeholder dialogues in various Spanish cities, involving over 150 participants. The conclusions from these discussions have been complied into a document that details the process and presents the opinions of representatives from the Spanish cultural sector on how to enhance the visibility and impact of culture in SDG progress reports.

The network translated SDSN's Net Zero on Campus Guide into Spanish and opened a call for best practices from its members. Both the guide and the open call were launched during an event in July 2023.
