On November 24, 2015, SDSN Spain (Red Española para el Desarrollo Sostenible – REDS) launched a Declaration with all political parties in Spain to publicly commit to the implementation of the 2030 Agenda before the national elections on December 20. The Declaration was presented in a public event by the Chairs of SDSN Spain/REDS, Miguel Angel Moratinos and Teresa Ribera.

This was followed by a round table to debate the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in Spain. All major political parties were represented at the event, including Partido Popular, PSOE, Podemos, UPyD, Ciudadanos, Equo and Izquierda Unida. All participants indicated their support for this initiative and the Declaration issued by the SDSN Spain network, which is currently under review to be signed in the following weeks. More information about this event and the full Declaration (in Spanish) are available here.
