How much do courses on the SDG Academy cost?
Our mission is to provide high quality education on sustainable development free of charge to all students. While courses will always be available free of charge, institutions and individual students will also be provided several paid options for accessing course materials. These functions are currently in development and will be announced in due course.
How can my institution become a member of the SDSN?
The SDG Academy, an initiative of the SDSN Association, supports the work of the Sustainable Development Solutions Network. The Sustainable Development Solutions Network (SDSN) is a collaborative network of academic and research institutions launched in August 2012 under the auspices of UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon to accelerate practical problem solving for sustainable development and to support the framing of the development objectives for the next two decades (tentatively referred to as Sustainable Development Goals). Membership in the Sustainable Development Solutions Network is free and open to universities, research institutions, foundations, civil society, and other organizations. Members should have deep expertise in one or more areas related to sustainable development and commit a substantial amount of their own work towards finding and/or implementing solutions for sustainable development.
One of the major benefits of membership in SDSN is privileged access to course content presented on the SDG Academy and to potentially launch courses on the SDG Academy site on issues related to sustainable development. For a more comprehensive look at the benefits of membership and the process for applying to join the SDSN, please visit our website.
