Romania
SDSN Romania, hosted by the Bucharest University of Economic Studies and established in 2024, mobilizes its members across Romania to promote and support the SDGs through education, research, and strategic partnerships. The main strategic priorities of SDSN Romania target three key sectors of action: Education & Research, Innovative Solutions for Society, and Awareness Raising and Engagement. Within these areas, SDSN Romania seeks to mobilize universities and research institutions to promote the 2030 Agenda, develop interdisciplinary applied research projects, and foster collaboration on complex projects supported by the European Commission. Additional priorities include advising public and private sectors on resilience strategies, conducting professional seminars on sustainable development, and building awareness through community education and high-level conferences. Through these initiatives, SDSN Romania aims to contribute meaningfully to Romania’s national sustainability efforts.
