Swedish Companies Announce Initiative for Sustainable Development

Twenty Swedish companies have adopted four core principles on how they can jointly contribute to sustainable development and poverty reduction post-2015, saying that sustainability must permeate operations and business models. The companies also stress the importance of creating more and better jobs, systematically reducing impacts to the environment, and fighting corruption and unethical business practices.

Participating companies are Axel Johnson, Boliden, Elekta, Ericsson, Business Owners, GoodCause, H&M, IKEA, Indian, Investor, Postcode Lottery, Ratos, Scania, SPP, Swedfund, Systembolaget, Tetra Laval, 3W, Unilever, and Volvo.
