SDSN Switzerland & NRP 73 Workshops on Sutainable Economy

Believing that transformational change is required to reach the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), between June 16 and July 9 2020, SDSN Switzerland and the National Research Programme (NRP 73) organised a series of thought provoking online workshops on sustainable construction and housing; digital innovation for sustainable agriculture; spill-over effects of sustainable behaviour; nudging and voluntary agreements in the private sector; sustainable food systems; and environmental monitoring.

The objective of the workshop series was to launch and discuss the findings of NRP 73 with a variety of stakeholders and to elaborate calls to action forpolicy makers, public authorities, as well as business and civil society representatives. Such calls to action are aimed at facilitating the transition towards a sustainable and fair economy in Switzerland and contributing to the achievement of the SDGs.

In total, 38 calls-to-action were formulated, 18 of which were prioritised and will help shape the programme synthesis of NRP 73.

Recordings of the workshops are available on the website of SDSN Switzerland.
