Jeffrey Sachs Visits Australia in Multi-City Tour

Sustainable Development Solutions Network (SDSN) Director Jeffrey D. Sachs visited Australia on 18–23 May on a highly successful multi-city tour hosted by SDSN Australia/Pacific and Monash and Curtin universities.

Jeffrey Sachs is a world-renowned economics professor, leader in sustainable development, senior UN advisor, bestselling author, and syndicated columnist. He was called by the New York Times, “probably the most important economist in the world,” and by Time Magazine “the world’s best known economist.”

During his visit, Professor Sachs met with a wide range of stakeholders, including government ministers and shadow ministers, senior government officials, business leaders, and academics, to discuss Australia’s role in advancing sustainable development solutions.
