FAS and the Cenarium Amazônia Network Launch the “Pathways from the Amazon to COP28” Guide

FAS and Cenarium Network launched the “Pathways from the Amazon to COP28”, a guide that provides an introduction to the United Nations (UN) Conferences on Climate Change (COP) by providing an Amazonian perspective on today's most important climate and environmental issues. Additionally, the guide includes a dictionary of technical terms and acronyms, provides context on key climate issues, and explores themes essential to understanding the importance of COP28 for the Amazon. "Pathways from the Amazon to COP28" is an essential guide for the Amazonian public that wants to stay abreast of the 2023 edition of the largest climate event in the world. The open-access publication is available in both English and Spanish.

The publication is the result of a partnership between the Cenarium Amazônia Network, a communications group with presence throughout Brazil's Legal Amazonia region and the Amazonas Sustainable Foundation (FAS) which is the host of the Sustainable Development Solutions Network for the Amazon (SDSN Amazônia).

This Amazonian partnership will be covering the United Nations (UN) Climate Change Conference (COP28) in Dubai. Stay tuned to the websites and social networks of both partners to stay informed of the main issues and activities in the Amazon at COP28.
