2nd International UN SDSN Mediterranean Conference
SDSN’s Mediterranean Regional Network , known as MED Solutions, is hosting its 2nd International UN SDSN Mediterranean Conference in Siena on March 5-6, 2015.
The Conference is focused on Solutions for Agri-Food Sustainability in the Mediterranean – Policies, Technologies and Business Models. It is organized in cooperation with the Region of Tuscany and chaired by Jeffrey Sachs, Director of UN SDSN.
Conference attendance is free of charge , though travel and accommodation costs are the responsibility of participants. Registration inquiries should be sent to [email protected].
Papers related to the issues being discussed in the Conference can be proposed for presentation by sending a 1,500 character-long abstract to [email protected] by January 9. Solutions initiatives for the Mediterranean region can also be proposed, following the instructions available at www.medsolutions.unisi.it. The Scientific Committee will communicate its decisions by January 26.
