Kannan is a Manager with the Networks team at the SDSN.
Previously, he managed partnerships in the South Asia and Latin America regions at Generation Global, the education initiative of the Tony Blair Institute for Global Change. In this role, he focused on fostering intercultural partnerships to advance the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and promote Global Citizenship Education. Kannan also contributed to the SDSN's Global Schools Program as a Project Officer (Advocacy), where he advocated for Education for Sustainable Development (ESD) in schools worldwide.
Kannan is a published author and holds a Master of Science in Asian Studies and International Relations from Nanyang Technological University, Singapore, as well as an Integrated Master’s in Political Science from Pondicherry University, India.
