St. Francis College, situated in downtown Brooklyn, New York, was founded in 1884 by Franciscan Brothers.  Its mission is guided by the ideals and teaching of St. Francis of Assisi with the goal of developing in its students critical thinking, the ability to make moral choices, responsible citizenship, and a personal commitment to social justice and the environment.  With its talented and dedicated faculty, a wide variety of undergraduate majors in the liberal arts and sciences, graduate programs in Accounting, Education and Psychology, and a highly diverse student body, St. Francis College strives to prepare its students to contribute to solving the challenges of creating a socially inclusive, equitable, just and sustainable future.
