Politecnico di Bari is a public university whose primary aim is the cultural, scientific and technological progress in the areas of engineering and architecture. Such an aim is pursued by fostering excellence and innovation in the field of scientific research and advanced education. Politecnico di Bari encompasses about 12,000 students and 300 professors and is located in Bari (main campus) and Taranto, in the Apulia Region (Italy).
