We seek to find solutions to the risks connected to extreme weather events such as rainstorms, floods and windstorms – through our research and through cooperative projects.

Our research focuses on key concepts such as risk management, vulnerability and safety. The main aim is to assess the vulnerability of society and its ability to cope with the potential risks. We excel at linking our research to municipal and regional practice.

Cooperative projects is typically conducted in cooperation with scientists from various disciplines and various research organizations.
