Green city Italia and IEFE Bocconi (Centre for Research on Energy and Environmental Economics and Policy), in collaboration with the Sustainable Development Solutions Network (SDSN), Green Budget Europe and Urbanit, are thrilled to announce the hosting of the Conference “Green Infrastructures for More Liveable Cities: Assessing urban ecosystem services to promote nature-based solutions” on 7th April, 2017, at Bocconi University in Milan. The event, which takes place in occasion of the 60th IEFE’s anniversary, is supported by the European Commission as well as by the Italian Ministry of Environment, Earth and Oceans.

The conference aims to highlight the value of ecosystem services for cities to strengthen their ability to adapt to climate change and make the transition to a more healthy and sustainable future. By welcoming national, European and international experts and practitioners, it offers an excellent opportunity to showcase policies and successful case studies around the world on this specific matter.
