The New York office of the SDSN is accepting applications for the positions of Program Coordinator and Analyst.
About the Positions
Reporting to the Associate Director, Sustainable Development Solutions Network (SDSN), the Program Coordinator will work with the Associate Director in New York and the Paris-based Head of Finance and Administration to ensure the smooth functioning of the SDSN from a financial and organizational perspective. Under the oversight of the Associate Director, the incumbent will be responsible for the operations of the New York Office, including the team’s schedules and travel arrangements, providing support and working with the SDSN teams in New York and Paris. The Program Coordinator will provide a wide range of administrative support functions, including conference, meeting and event organization, taking the minutes of meetings, managing and monitoring office supplies, preparing expense reports, managing payments to vendors, and provide administrative support to the Associate Director and SDSN Head of Finance and Administration for Human Resource matters. S/he is accountable for the timely completion of assignments and tasks and will be responsible to independently handle discreet and confidential information. The position may require limited international travel. Responsible for all additional assignments deemed appropriate by the Associate Director.
The SDSN is seeking a dynamic and talented professional to support the Associate Director and Head of the New York Office in managing urgent priorities relating to the implementation of the new SDG agenda, with a specific focus on designing strong data and information systems to track SDG progress and supporting the work of the SDSN Data Network. This will include conducting writing assignments, undertaking project administration, and event management, and other tasks that might arise related to the Data Thematic Network. One of the key responsibilities of this position will be to support the development of a Flagship Report on evolving data ecosystems, to be launched in Summer 2016. Based out of the New York office of the SDSN, the Analyst will report to the Associate Director and work closely with the SDSN team. The position requires international travel.
