2015 is a pivotal year for sustainable development! The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), to be adopted by the United Nations this September, will outline the global development priorities for the next 15 years.

The Sustainable Development Solutions Network (SDSN) and the Global Association of Master’s in Development Practice (MDP) are hosting the 3rd Annual International Conference on Sustainable Development on September 23-24, 2015, at Columbia University in NYC.

This year’s conference theme is “Implementing the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs): Getting Started.” The aim of the conference is to identify and share practical, evidence-based solutions that can support SDGs, which will be adopted at the historic UN Summit immediately following the conference.

Confirmed speakers include WBCSD President Peter Bakker, UN Deputy Secretary-General Jan Eliasson, Asian Development Bank Vice-President Stephen Groff, Journalist Femi Oke, Former PM of Ireland Mary Robinson, SRC Executive Director Johan Rockström, and SDSN Director Jeffrey Sachs.

ICSD will bring together world leaders, students, and professionals from around the world. We welcome participants from all sectors and experience levels.
