“Our Common Future under Climate Change” is the largest forum for the scientific community to come together ahead of the 21st UNFCCC Conference of the Parties (COP21), which will be hosted by France in December 2015. The conference, that will take place in Paris, UNESCO headquarters, in July (7-10) 2015, is organized with the support of the French Government and under the umbrella of ICSU, Future Earth, UNESCO, and major French research institutions.

Building on the findings of the 5th IPCC assessment report (AR5), the conference will present updated knowledge and address key issues concerning climate change in the broader context of global change. It will offer an opportunity to discuss solutions for both mitigation and adaptation issues.

Following the Call for Sessions, the Call for Contributions (Oral and Poster) will be open at the beginning of January 2015. This call will be held by the conveners of the Parallel Sessions in close collaboration with the Scientific Committee. Proposed contributions must be relevant to one of the selected themes for Parallel Sessions.

Oral contributions for sessions, including keynotes, must be submitted via the Call for Contributions. Once the Call for Contributions has been closed, selected oral contributions will be included in the Parallel Sessions hosted by conveners or be recommended as part of the poster sessions.

Contributions will be reviewed according to the following criteria:

  • Relevance
  • Scientific quality
  • Innovation/novelty
