On October 14, 2014, SDSN participated in an event showcasing interim findings from the “The Post-2015 Data Test.” This project, led by the Centre for Policy Dialogue (CPD) and The Norman Paterson School of International Affairs (NPSIA) in association with the network Southern Voice on Post-MDG International Development Goals (Southern Voice) and the Partnership for African Social and Governance Research (PASGR), considers the feasibility of proposed goals, targets and indicators in 7 sample countries (Bangladesh, Canada, Peru, Sierra Leone, Senegal, Tanzania, and Turkey).

Over the course of the event, participants considered the major trends in data quality, availability, accessibility and usability in different sectors across the sample countries. Preliminary country findings and conclusions of the meeting are available here. SDSN was represented by Paul Walsh, Eve de la Mothe Karoubi and Jessica Espey; Jessica was a discussant on the panel on data availability and quality.
