The Deep Decarbonization Pathways Project (DDPP) held its fourth in person meeting in Paris from April 30 – May 2. Over 40 participants, representing the 15 country teams as well as partners from international organizations and research institutions, attended the meeting. SDSN participants included Jeffrey Sachs, Laurence Tubiana, Emmanuel Guerin, and Carl Mas.

The meeting, hosted by the SDSN and IDDRI, gathered representative from the country teams to meet to review decarbonization pathway analysis and discuss the DDPP report that will be submitted to the UN Secretary General in July.  During the meeting, country team’s presented findings and received feedback to inform analysis refinements and development of country specific narratives. The entire group also discussed key methodical and technical issues and agreed upon the content and structure of the July report.
