On April 4th, 2014, from 1:15 pm to 2:45 pm, the SDSN in collaboration with the UN Non-Governmental Liaison Service (NGLS) will host a side event in the Trusteeship Council Chamber of the UN Conference building in New York, USA, to solicit comments on the draft report Indicators for Sustainable Development Goals (click here to download the event flier).
Jeffrey Sachs, Director of the SDSN, will provide opening remarks via videoconference. Ivo Havinga Chief of the Economic Statistics Branch of the UN Statistical Division will then offer remarks. Following these speakers, Guido Schmidt-Traub, Executive Director of the SDSN, will respond to comments and questions from the floor.
This event will be the last opportunity to provide feedback on this version of the report. The deadline for the submission of written comments is March 28. For persons not in possession of a UN grounds pass, a limited number of special event tickets will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. Those interested in special event tickets should RSVP to firstname.lastname@example.org no later than 5 pm EST on Tuesday April 1st (EST/New York) to receive a special-events pass (UN grounds pass holders do not need to RSVP).
