Senior Advisor of ASviS (the Italian Alliance for Sustainable Development)
Sabina Ratti, PhD in Molecular Biology, is married, has a son and two grandchildren.
Following her graduation at the Enrico Mattei High School in Energy and Environment, she coordinates the Environmental Accounting working group of Agip and realizes the company Environmental Report, among of the first ones published worldwide.
In the late 90s, she was appointed Responsible of the HSEQ and PR department of the Eni Southern Italy Operative District. After a few years as Supervisor of the CSR and Sustainable Management Research Program of Fondazione Eni Enrico Mattei (FEEM), she was nominated Eni Sustainability Senior Vice President in 2006, contributing to Eni international reputation and position among the most sustainable companies worldwide. In 2015, she was appointed FEEM Executive Director.
As member of UN SDSN Leadership Council and of UN Global Compact LEAD Steering Committee (moreover, Vice President of UN GC Italian Network), she was involved in the process that led to the SDGs definition and Agenda 2030 approval. Following her triennial mandate in FEEM, she reinforces her commitment to sustainable development and to Agenda 2030 by chairing the Italian network of UN SDSN and working as Senior Advisor within ASviS, the Alliance of the Italian civil society for Sustainable Development.
She is among the founders and board member of Fuori Quota, the Italian association aiming to tackle gender inequality and discrimination in the workplace. She is part of the Scientific Committees of Symbola and of Santa Chiara Lab (Siena University), since their foundation. She is also the Chairwoman of a family owned wine-producing company that dates back to 1558.
