Laveesh Bhandari (born 1966) is an Indian economist.  His work has spanned industrial and economic reforms in India, performance of India states and UTs, socio-economic conditions, and economic geography. Laveesh returned to India in 1996 and commenced working on industry and infrastructure issues at the National Council of Applied Economic Research, New Delhi.  He founded and headed Indicus in 2001. He is currently the Director of Indicus Foundation that works on issues and studies on multidimensional inclusion – financial, digital, and socio-economic.  He has taught economics at Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi and Boston University.
