David Durand-Delacre is an Associate at the SDSN, working on the technical aspects of the SDG Index and Dashboards ( and its applications as a tool for SDSN networks to promote discussions on the SDGs in their national and/or regional context. He previously provided research support to the Executive Director in the preparation of various SDSN publications on Financing for Development. David holds an MSc in Environment and Development from the London School of Economics – where he focused on the economics and politics of sustainability as well as the challenges of global environmental governance – and a BSc in Environmental Geography from University College London, during which he studied environmental sciences, specifically hydro-climatology and ecology.

Prior to joining SDSN, David conducted a biodiversity field study for InVivo’s Sustainable Agriculture Divison and researched European water monitoring and evaluation systems for the French Ministry of Ecology, Sustainable Development and Energy.
