Cheikh Tidiane Gadio

Dr. Cheikh Tidiane Gadio is the President of the Institut PanAfricain de Stratégies and the Chairman and CEO of Sarata Holding, a consulting and advising firm specializing in business and development partnerships with Africa. He served as Foreign Minister of Senegal from 2000 to 2002, becoming Senegalese Minister of State responsible for Foreign Affairs from 2002 to 2010.
He has helped to mediate a number of crises in Africa, notably Mauritania, Darfur, Chad and Mali. He has also held positions at The World Bank, the School of International Training in Vermont, the United Nations, and the US-Africa Institute.
